Privacy Policy
Effective 19 September 2026.
Who we are
End Cancer Foundation, a non-profit being incorporated in India, decides how and why your personal data is used. We call ourselves “we”.
What we collect
- Details you type into our forms: name, phone number, email, district and state, language, and what you ask for.
- Basic technical data your browser sends when you visit (for example your device type and pages visited), used to keep the site working.
Our forms do not ask for medical reports or health details. If we later need health information to help you, we will ask for it separately, explain why, and ask for your specific consent first.
Why we use it
- To respond to your request, enquiry, pledge or offer to volunteer.
- To run our programmes and keep records we are legally required to keep.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for advertising.
Consent and withdrawal
We use your data because you agreed when you submitted the form. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing does not affect anything we did before.
Who we share it with
Only with people who need it to help you: our staff and volunteers, the email or form service we use, and a hospital if you ask us to arrange a referral. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it. Service providers must protect it.
How long we keep it
Only as long as needed for the purpose, or as the law requires. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.
Children
If a person is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must give consent for us to use their data.
Security
We use encrypted connections and limit access to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising cookies. It stores your language choice in your browser so you do not have to choose again.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it erased. You can also nominate someone to act for you if you cannot. Email us and we will reply.
Grievances
Contact: connect@endcancer.in. If we do not resolve your complaint you may approach the Data Protection Board of India as the law provides.
Changes
We will post changes here and update the date above.
